About the Role Sanvina Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Estimator to manage our RFQ process. You will be the first point of technical analysis, interpreting customer data to create accurate and timely cost estimates. You will serve as a key link between our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Sales teams, and the manufacturing process, ensuring all specifications are correctly assessed for quoting. What You'll Do
- Interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications and translate them into manufacturing complexity; evaluate BOM, PCB stack-up, and panelization
- Retrieve and analyze customer data, manufacturing prints, and technical notes to determine board attributes, processes, and sizes
- Utilize Gerber viewing software and other programs to inspect customer data files; apply PCB layout experience to assess design complexity
- Complete and verify the accuracy of internal quote sheets, ensuring all customer requirements are captured
- Collaborate directly with CSRs and Sales teams to clarify customer needs and resolve ambiguities in provided data
- Research specifications using internal resources to ensure quotes meet IPC standards and customer requirements
- Manage the RFQ process to deliver timely, accurate cost estimates What We're Looking For
- 2+ years PCB cost estimation or CAM design experience
- Familiarity with BOM, PCB stackup, Gerber data, IPC standards
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills Nice to Have
- Experience with Gerber viewing software
- Knowledge of IPC 600 and IPC 610
- Familiarity with FTP, Sanmina Net systems Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $61,000 - $72,000 per year (USD)
