Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support a non-profit organization in San Francisco, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll with accuracy, work confidently in a mid-sized employee population, and contribute in a hands-on hybrid environment. The position requires strong experience with payroll processing, benefits-related allocations, and financial reconciliation while partnering closely with payroll leadership.
Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for an employee population of approximately 500 staff members, with a large share of non-exempt employees, ensuring timely and accurate pay.
- Administer full-cycle payroll activities using Paycom, including payroll validation, review of earnings and deductions, and resolution of discrepancies before finalization.
