Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Pennsylvania on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This position will support accurate and timely payroll operations by maintaining employee payroll data, managing timekeeping records, and assisting with payroll processing activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential employee information. This individual will also serve as a resource for employee payroll questions and work closely with HR and payroll leadership to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and accurately.

This is an onsite position, five days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll-related activity in Paycom, including reviewing time entries, correcting timecard issues, and helping prepare payroll for processing.

  • Audit timesheets to confirm all records are submitted on schedule and entered accurately within required deadlines.

  • Maintain current payroll records such as attendance details, leave balances, and employee payment information.

  • Partner with the HR team to keep employee information in the payroll system accurate, complete, and up to date.

  • Review and document direct deposit details to support accurate employee payment setup and maintenance.

  • Address employee questions related to pay, deductions, timekeeping, and other payroll concerns clearly and courteously.

  • Monitor payroll regulations and apply updated requirements to support compliance with applicable laws and policies.

  • Provide additional administrative and operational support to the Senior Payroll Administrator and broader payroll function as needed.

  • Experience supporting payroll for a workforce of approximately 101 to 500 employees.

  • Hands-on knowledge of payroll processing and timekeeping administration, preferably using Paycom.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet payroll deadlines.
