About this role
We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to support a busy healthcare team in Langhorne, PA. This is a Contract position focused on delivering a welcoming patient experience through appointment coordination, registration support, and responsive service over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable managing a high volume of inquiries while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient appointments, confirm scheduling details, and help maintain an efficient calendar for clinical services.

Welcome patients and visitors, provide clear guidance, and address routine service questions with professionalism and empathy.

Complete registration activities by collecting and updating demographic, insurance, and other required patient information accurately.

Handle incoming calls promptly, assist with appointment requests, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department when needed.

Support front-end patient service operations by ensuring records are current and administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Communicate clearly with patients regarding visit preparation, office procedures, and next steps related to their appointments.

Previous experience in patient scheduling, patient registration, or a similar healthcare support role.

Ability to provide courteous customer service in a call center, medical office, or patient-facing environment.

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to assist patients clearly and professionally.

High attention to detail when entering information and maintaining accurate records.

Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while staying organized.

Proficiency with standard office systems and willingness to learn role-specific healthcare tools and processes.
