About this role
A Patient Care Technician at Grupo Planeta in Madrid (Spain) will provide close and quality care to patients, professionals and students, ensuring an excellent experience from their arrival at the center and the proper functioning of administrative and care processes. The role focuses on managing reception and patient care, coordinating the care schedule, handling administrative tasks derived from clinical activity, and supporting the team to ensure efficient, organized care aligned with the center's quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive and attend to patients, students, teachers and collaborators in person, offering close and professional attention.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other communication channels with patients and users.
- Organize, confirm and modify appointments, ensuring proper planning of the clinical schedule.
- Perform patient admission and registration, keeping documentation and information updated in the management systems.
- Resolve incidents and questions related to appointments and patient care, referring to the clinical team when intervention is required.
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team in the daily management of the clinic.
- Manage administrative documentation and collaborate in monitoring internal processes.
- Coordinate communication between patients and professionals to ensure agile and efficient service operation.
- Ensure an excellent patient experience throughout the visit to the clinic.
Requirements
- Vocational training in Administration, Healthcare Management, Customer Service or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in patient care, reception, or customer service roles, preferably in healthcare centers, clinics or care environments.
- Demonstrable experience in managing schedules, coordinating appointments and answering phones.
- Regular use of computer tools and management programs.
- Valuable experience in dental clinics, medical clinics or university health centers.
- High level of oral and written communication.
