Responsibilities

Welcome patients and guide them through the registration process for outpatient surgical services.

Gather and update demographic, insurance, and medical information to maintain accurate patient records.

Verify insurance coverage and confirm eligibility prior to scheduled appointments or procedures.

Coordinate appointment scheduling and make adjustments as needed to support patient care operations.

Answer patient questions related to intake, registration, and appointment preparation in a thorough and attentive manner.

Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely and accurate access to services.

Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information in accordance with healthcare privacy standards.

Support front-end access workflows for the surgery center while helping create an efficient patient experience.

Previous experience in patient registration, patient access, or a similar healthcare administrative role.

Working knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility review processes.

Ability to schedule appointments accurately and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with a patient-focused and detail-oriented approach.

High level of attention to detail when entering and reviewing patient information.

Comfort using healthcare systems and standard office technology for registration and scheduling tasks.

Availability to work on a permanent basis, Monday through Friday, with rotating eight-hour start times.
