About the Role PRN Patient Access Representative to support Kalispell-area clinics. You’ll be the welcoming face and friendly voice, helping keep clinic operations running smoothly on daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with no nights or weekends. What You'll Do
- Greet patients warmly and professionally; collect, verify, and update demographic and insurance information
- Prioritize registrations based on acuity and clinic workflow
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using verification software
- Explain out-of-pocket costs clearly and compassionately; collect and process payments per policy
- Identify self-pay patients and refer to financial counseling as needed
- Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
- Support clinic operations with general administrative tasks
- Communicate opportunities for service improvements to leadership
- Deliver accurate, productive, and exceptional customer service What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of customer service; healthcare registration/scheduling/insurance verification/billing/financial clearance or medical assisting preferred
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new software
- Strong verbal and written communication; excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Friendly, organized, people-focused, and able to work a flexible weekday routine Nice to Have
- Background in customer service, front office, administrative support, or hospitality
- Experience with verification software and healthcare workflows
