A Bariga, Lagos-based restaurant is hiring for a Pastry Cook/Griller. The role combines pastry production with grill station duties, and offers a monthly salary of 60,000 naira. The position requires working Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Accommodation is available for female staff only.
Responsibilities
- Prepare small chops with precise measurements, correct baking temperatures, and flawless presentation.
- Manage and operate the grill station for meats and fish, ensuring dishes meet exact specifications.
- Collaborate on menu development and contribute ideas to improve dish presentation and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of both pastry and grill areas in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pastry chef/Grill operator in a restaurant or catering service.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong eye for food presentation and a willingness to contribute to menu development.
- Reside around Bariga or its environs.
