Partnerships & Growth Lead Generation Virtual Assistant

Business Address: Sydney, NSW Australia

Role Overview:

Is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven, and mission-aligned Partnerships & Growth Lead to help grow its global movement of generosity, sacrifice, service, and social impact.

The role will initially focus on the Philippine market, identifying and engaging churches, pastors, volunteer networks, charities, community organisations, philanthropists, and other influential groups that can help introduce them to new audiences and encourage meaningful platform participation.

This is a hands-on role combining lead generation, research, strategic outreach, partnership development, and user acquisition. The successful candidate must understand the client’s mission and be able to communicate its purpose clearly, authentically, and persuasively to potential users and partners.

The initial engagement will be part-time, with opportunities to increase hours and responsibilities as results are achieved. The primary goal is to help the client/business reach its first 10,000 new registered users, while also encouraging active participation and genuine understanding of the platform's purpose.

Scope of Work:

  1. Lead Generation & Market Research
  • Research and identify potential users, partners, and influential networks aligned with their mission.

  • Build targeted contact lists of churches, pastors, congregations, volunteer organisations, charities, community groups, philanthropists, and relevant influencers.

  • Identify opportunities within the Philippines to establish an initial user base and develop a repeatable growth strategy.

  • Research relevant organisations, decision-makers, community leaders, and referral networks.

  • Recommend additional target markets and audience segments based on research, engagement, and conversion results.

  1. Outreach & Relationship Building
  • Conduct personalised outreach through email, LinkedIn, social media, and other relevant communication channels.

  • Introduce them to prospective users, partners, community leaders, and organisations.

  • Develop relationships with pastors, church leaders, volunteer coordinators, and other influential stakeholders who can help promote the platform.

  • Follow up consistently with prospective partners and interested contacts to encourage registrations and ongoing engagement.

  • Explore opportunities for group registrations, referrals, community partnerships, and collaborative campaigns.

  1. Partnership Development & Growth Strategy
  • Develop and test outreach strategies suited to their mission, audience, and social-impact objectives.

  • Recommend practical, cost-effective approaches to increase registrations and active platform participation.

  • Identify partnership opportunities with charities, churches, volunteer networks, social enterprises, and philanthropic organisations.

  • Monitor outreach performance and refine approaches based on engagement, conversion rates, and return on investment.

  • Provide strategic recommendations and challenge existing approaches when alternative methods may deliver better results.

  1. User Acquisition & Engagement
  • Help drive new user registrations toward the initial target of 10,000 users.

  • Communicate their purpose and value proposition clearly so prospective users understand why they are joining.

  • Encourage meaningful participation rather than focusing solely on registration numbers.

  • Track both new sign-ups and, where data is available, active user engagement.

  • Identify opportunities to turn individual registrations into broader community participation through referrals and organisational networks.

  1. Pipeline Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, outreach activities, follow-ups, and partnership opportunities.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including qualified leads, outreach activity, responses, registrations, conversion rates, and active user engagement where measurable.

  • Provide regular progress updates and end-of-day reports as required.

  • Review performance with the client and recommend adjustments to targets, outreach methods, and priorities.

  • Research relevant grants, sponsorships, philanthropic support, and strategic collaborations as appropriate to the role and agreed priorities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage people professionally and persuasively.

  • Experience in lead generation, outreach, business development, partnerships, community engagement, fundraising, or a related field.

  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant contacts, organisations, and decision-makers.

  • Confidence initiating conversations, following up with prospects, and building relationships with different stakeholder groups.

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage contact lists, outreach pipelines, and multiple priorities independently.

  • Ability to understand a mission-driven platform and communicate its purpose accurately and authentically.

  • Results-oriented mindset, with an understanding of measurable growth, conversion, and return on investment.

  • Willingness to test new approaches, learn from results, and adapt strategies as the business evolves.

  • Genuine interest in social impact, generosity, volunteering, and community development.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience engaging churches, pastors, Christian organisations, or faith-based communities.

  • A Christian background or familiarity with Christian values, including service, sacrifice, generosity, and helping others.

  • Existing knowledge of the Philippine church, charity, volunteering, or community organisation landscape.

  • Experience developing referral networks, strategic partnerships, or community-led growth campaigns.

  • Experience using CRM systems, lead databases, email outreach tools, and digital prospecting platforms.

  • Experience growing memberships, user communities, or digital platforms.

  • Ability to identify influential individuals and organisations that can help expand awareness and participation.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate genuine understanding of their mission and a commitment to communicating it responsibly. A shared faith background is desirable, particularly for engaging faith-based communities, but the ability to understand and represent the mission authentically is essential.

Tools Required:

The candidate should be comfortable using or willing to learn the following tools:

  • Google Search and online research tools: To identify target organisations, contacts, decision-makers, and potential partners.

  • LinkedIn: For prospect research, professional networking, and outreach.

  • Email and communication platforms: Gmail or similar email tools, video conferencing, and messaging applications.

  • Google Sheets or Excel: For lead lists, contact tracking, performance monitoring, and reporting.

  • CRM or lead management systems: To organise contacts, manage follow-ups, and track the partnership pipeline.

  • AI research and productivity tools: To support prospect research, outreach personalisation, and workflow efficiency.

  • Their digital platform:** To understand the user journey, communicate the platform's purpose, and monitor registrations and engagement where access and reporting capabilities permit.

Specific tools and workflows may be recommended by the successful candidate in consultation with the client.

Shifts & Hours:

  • Initial engagement: Part-time, starting at 10 hours per week.

  • Working arrangement: Flexible hours, with reasonable availability for meetings and outreach activities that suit the Philippine market and the client's Australian time zone.

  • Schedule: To be agreed with the client, with flexibility to accommodate outreach to churches, organisations, and community leaders.

  • Growth opportunities: Hours and responsibilities may increase as performance is assessed and the project grows. The longer-term objective may include expanding the role into a larger growth team.

Target Start Date:

Flexible. The client prefers to take the time necessary to identify the right candidate rather than rush the hiring process. The start date will be confirmed following candidate selection and onboarding.

Initial Performance Goals:

The initial focus will be on establishing a strong outreach foundation and identifying achievable performance benchmarks during the first month.

Key measures may include:

  • Number of relevant prospects researched and qualified.

  • Number of outreach messages and follow-ups completed.

  • Number of responses, meetings, and partnership discussions generated.

  • Number of new registered users attributed to outreach activities.

  • Active user engagement and conversion quality, where measurable.

  • Progress toward the initial goal of 10,000 new registered users.
