Partner Development Manager

Intuit
Mountain View, CA; New York, NY
On-siteUSD 185,000 - 256,000 / year

About this role

About the Role

As a Partner Development Manager within Intuit's Commercial Partnerships & Channels organization, you will own the end-to-end relationship with a portfolio of reseller partners — either value-added resellers (VARs) or accounting firms that resell Intuit's mid-market product lineup. You carry quota-bearing customer acquisition responsibility and are the single point of accountability for pipeline generation, co-selling execution, and partner performance within your assigned book. This role sits at the intersection of partner success and customer growth, driving adoption of QuickBooks Advanced, IES, and Intuit Services, with a focus on Intuit Agent Studio as a differentiating AI capability. What You'll Do

  • Own all-up accountability for an assigned portfolio of reseller partners — primary relationship owner across commercial, operational, and strategic dimensions; build and manage partner-sourced pipeline to meet/quota targets; maintain CRM hygiene.

  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews with partners, ensuring activity levels and deal progression milestones are met; drive co-selling motions with partner sales teams; engage end customers as needed.

  • Execute sell-through strategies enabling partners to independently close new mid-market customers on QuickBooks Advanced, IES, and Intuit Services; develop partner-specific sales plays, competitive positioning, and objection handling resources with enablement/product teams.

  • Champion adoption of Intuit Agent Studio with partners as a strategic differentiator and value driver for end customers.

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with each partner, setting revenue targets, activity commitments, and quarterly/annual milestones; identify gaps in partner capability and collaborate cross-functionally to close them.

  • Surface partner feedback and market intelligence to internal product, marketing, and strategy stakeholders; represent Intuit at partner events, QBRs, and relevant industry engagements within your territory. What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of quota-carrying experience in channel sales, partner account management, or related B2B SaaS/tech sales; proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota via partner/indirect sales.

  • Experience managing co-selling and sell-through engagements with reseller or channel partners; strong pipeline management, forecasting, and accountability to commitments.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence; ability to credibly engage with partner principals and end customers.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and standard sales productivity platforms. Nice to Have

  • Experience selling or managing partnerships in the mid-market accounting, ERP, or financial management software space.

  • Familiarity with the QuickBooks ecosystem, Intuit mid-market product lineup (QuickBooks Advanced, IES), or competitive products.

  • Prior experience working with VARs or accounting firm resellers.

  • Understanding of AI-powered software adoption dynamics and ability to position agentic AI in a business value context.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Compensation & Benefits

  • Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach; eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

  • Base pay ranges (USD) between $185,000 and $256,000 depending on location (Mountain View, CA and New York, NY references in posting).

  • Benefits described in Intuit Careers – Benefits program.
