What You'll Do

• Provide timely, accurate, and useful information to help commuters plan their drives. Deliver up to the minute reports on accidents, delays, and major traffic disruptions. Read traffic updates, commercials, and public service announcements on air. Gather information from multiple intake sources and monitor local, state, and national traffic feeds to determine what’s most relevant. Research, write, and produce traffic and weather copy for on air use; edit audio using digital editing software. Manage incoming information, verify facts, and ensure all details are accurate and current; maintain updated content on station websites. Create written, visual, audio, and video content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
