Job title: Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

About the Role The Hershey Territory Sales Associate is a part-time, remote role responsible for selling and maintaining distribution of Hershey items across assigned retailers within the Virginia territory. You will travel to store locations, execute merchandising plans, and build relationships to maximize product visibility and sales.

What You'll Do

• Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
• Ensure flawless retail execution of Retail Execution Plans with various retailers.
• Achieve merchandising objectives through the use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan.
• Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions and all administrative functions within the assigned territory.
• Report daily activities through the use of tablets, submitting upon completion of each day.
• Manage Sales Territory - size varies by territory, number of retailers, and location; required to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily.
• Work 20-25 hours per week with 6-10+ accounts per day; core hours are typically 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, unless business needs require otherwise.
• Mileage for travel will be reimbursed at $0.62 per mile; no car allowance.

What We're Looking For

• Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license and a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, and policy must permit business use.
• Must reside in or be willing to commute within the territory boundaries as listed.
• Must be able to drive long distances to make multiple daily sales calls.
• Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly and perform bending, kneeling, stooping with manual dexterity.
• Must be able to use tablet technology and have daily access to wireless internet.
• Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Experience: 3-4 years food merchandising is preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Food merchandising or consumer packaged goods/retail merchandising experience in a field sales role.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour.
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.62 per mile; no separate car allowance.
• Flexible part-time schedule (20-25 hours/week).
