Job title: Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Associate
About the Role Join Scholastic Book Fairs as a Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Associate to help build book fairs for schools. You will work in an active environment building book fairs, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality, with a focus on meeting production standards during peak school periods. This role offers flexible 4-hour shifts and typically operates Monday-Friday, with time off during summer and winter breaks.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in WA – Level I functions, including fair production, returns, fulfillment of customer orders, scanner, replenishment, corrugate assembly, truck unload, pulling restocks, pricing, repacking, and replenishment put away.
- Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy, and quality standards; follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Keep work area neat, clean, safe, and organized; may operate motorized pallet jacks after completing SBF powered equipment program.
- May work on temporary projects related to other position descriptions as part of individual and team development.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors.
- Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers; good verbal/written communication, basic math, and ability to read documents in English (safety rules, operating instructions, procedures).
