Job title: Part-Time Sales Associate

About the Role As a Retail Associate at Columbia Sportswear Company, you’ll serve as a brand ambassador and ensure exceptional in-store experiences by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations. You’ll support the Store Leadership team to maintain product availability, visual merchandising, and an efficient checkout experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with customers to understand needs and preferences and suggest suitable options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow.

What We're Looking For

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred); 16 years of age or older; 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Experience operating Inventory and POS systems and various retail software tools.
• Ability to work in a frequently active environment and flex schedule; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to move items up to 40 lbs; ability to work with a team in a retail environment.
