About the Role Western National Parks Association seeks a Part-Time, Retail Park Store Associate to support daily retail operations at Chiricahua National Monument and Fort Bowie National Historic Site in Willcox, AZ. The role contributes to a meaningful park visitor experience while supporting revenue that funds education, research and park projects. What You'll Do
- Support day-to-day retail store operations.
- Provide excellent visitor and customer service.
- Complete sales transactions.
- Assist retail manager(s) with inventory, receiving, stocking, cleaning, organizing and merchandising.
- Maintain clean and effective merchandising of products.
- Become an expert in the educational value of store products and communicate significance to visitors.
- Assist with special events after normal business hours and on weekends.
- Conduct physical inventory cycles and year-end counts to ensure accurate inventory.
- Act as an ambassador of WNPA and the NPS to create meaningful experiences for park visitors. What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED (or currently a high school student).
- Prior retail and point-of-sale system experience (preferred).
- Valid driver's license.
- Computer skills including Internet, databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of office equipment (computers, printers, calculators, multiline phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers, dollies).
- Planning, organization, analytical thinking, problem solving, multitasking, and strong communication.
- Ability to pass NPS background check to obtain security clearance. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $15.45 – $16.20 per hour.
