About the Role Newell Brands is seeking a Part-Time Retail Associate in Aurora, IL to deliver an exceptional guest experience, drive sales, and uphold brand values. You will work onsite supporting a high-performing team and help create welcoming store environments that reflect our culture of Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership, and Leadership.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to a welcoming store environment and deliver an exceptional guest experience through product knowledge and genuine connections.
- Drive sales by implementing company selling strategies and building lasting customer relationships to boost loyalty; support the Rewards Loyalty program and monitor KPIs.
- Maintain store appearance according to visual standards, plan-o-grams, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team aligned with Newell Brand Values; foster positive teamwork and effective communication.
- Assist with inventory management and expense control; incorporate safety and loss prevention measures; follow policies and Code of Ethics.
- Strive to achieve or exceed KPI goals through planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED; 1+ years of retail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with customer loyalty programs or CRM systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced consumer goods environment to deliver guest experiences.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $15.00 - $18.75 per hour (USD).
- Salary is hourly and commensurate with prior experience related to the required skills.
