About the Role Part Time Private Investigator - Special Investigations (SIU) at Alpine Intel in Minneapolis seeks detail-oriented investigators to conduct insurance-related investigations. You will perform interviews, scene investigations, and reporting to support auto, property, and other claims. This role requires a proactive, ethical individual with investigative experience and the ability to work flexible hours.
What You'll Do
- Conduct recorded detailed interviews of those insured, claimants, witnesses, and others as identified
- Complete scene investigations, including photographing
- Conduct in-person visits to medical clinics
- Complete neighborhood canvasses
- Make sound judgments during the course of the investigation
- Provide timely progress updates
- Complete detailed investigative reports
What We're Looking For
- Current and active Private Investigator license
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
- Proficient with a digital camera; strong computer and internet skills
- Access to high-speed internet; laptop preferred; scanner or fax machine
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and possible evenings
- Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work independently and in a team
- Must pass an extensive background check and drug screen
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly; strong observational and organizational skills
- 5+ years investigations experience preferred
- College degree preferred
Nice to Have
- Prior SIU or insurance investigations experience is a plus
- Experience investigating auto and property insurance claims is a plus
