About this role

Part-Time Pharmacist at Fetter Health Care Network's closed-door pharmacy serving the Charleston and Summerville area. You will practice at the top of your license as an integrated clinical partner, collaborating with primary care providers to optimize therapies and improve health outcomes within our mission-driven FQHC.

Provide coverage for Summerville, SC pharmacy and relief across all four FHCN locations (Downtown Charleston, Summerville, Cross, SC) as needed. Dispense and manage medications accurately, safely, and efficiently; handle third-party billing and rejections. Clinical review of drug therapy problems, allergy concerns, and direct consultation with in-house prescribers. Patient education: provide compassionate counseling on drug usage, storage, side effects, and interactions. Operational oversight: supervise daily pharmacy operations including 340B program compliance, inventory and cost management, controlled substance records, and site deliveries. Team leadership: lead, assign tasks to, and mentor pharmacy technicians to maintain a compliant, positive, and ethical work environment. Compliance & technology: maintain adherence to federal/state/local laws and HIPAA; utilize EMR (eClinicalWorks) and PioneerRx.

Current, active licensure by the South Carolina State Board of Pharmacy. PharmD or RPh from an accredited institution. Experience preferred, but not required. Strong working knowledge of SC Board of Pharmacy regulations. 340B program knowledge is a plus; training provided on the job. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds. Solid technical proficiency with PioneerRx, EMRs (eClinicalWorks – training provided), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong problem-solving skills, sound clinical judgment, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.

340B program knowledge (preferred).

Schedule: 24 hours/week; weekends off; hours 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM–12:00 PM on Fridays. Closed-door, non-retail environment focused on patient care. On-the-job training provided; 340B program oversight support.
