Job title: PART TIME ON-CALL Occupational Health Physician
About the Role Join Eagle Health as a PART TIME ON-CALL Occupational Health Physician to support a new opportunity in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC. This on-call role provides occupational health services within a fast-paced environment that serves DoD, DoJ, USAID, and DHA communities. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
What You'll Do
- Perform physical examinations, review and interpret all laboratory testing performed.
- Be on standby to respond if an employee experiences a reaction to an allergy shot.
- Provide occupational health services across designated clinics in Arlington, VA and Washington, DC.
- Travel as needed; travel requirements 0-10%.
- Ensure compliance with State Practice Acts and prevailing local standards of care; adhere to requirements for Responsible Managing Officers (RMOs).
- Maintain Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/AED certification.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely, high-quality care on a part-time on-call schedule.
What We're Looking For
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where the Occupational Health Clinic(s) is located, when required.
- RMOs must follow State Practice Acts and prevailing local standards of care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/AED certification.
- At least two (2) years of direct patient care experience with an adult population.
