About the Role Thiel College invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position in the Department of Nursing, beginning Fall 2026. This role focuses on laboratory and clinical supervision within the BSN program, with occasional classroom teaching as needed. The successful candidate will carry up to 6 credit hours per semester, approximately 14 hours per week of laboratory and clinical instruction, and 5–6 hours per week of departmental support. What You'll Do
- Provide clinical supervision at affiliated hospital and community sites, approximately 14 hours per week
- Lead laboratory and simulation instruction, applying evidence-based teaching strategies
- Support coordination of clinical experiences to ensure alignment with course objectives and regulatory standards
- Monitor student clinical and lab performance and support remediation as needed
- Occasional classroom teaching as departmental needs require
- Departmental Contribution (5-6 hours per week): Participate in departmental meetings and relevant committee work as scheduling allows
- Contribute to CCNE accreditation activities and program evaluation as requested
- Support student recruitment and retention efforts What We're Looking For
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure)
- Demonstrated clinical nursing experience
- Experience in higher education teaching or clinical supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; Thiel College does not sponsor visas. Nice to Have
- Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP)
- Psych, pediatric, or other specialty nursing experience
