Part-time Faculty, STEM Careers
About this role
Youngstown State University is seeking part-time faculty to teach STEM Careers across multiple locations. These pooled, as-needed appointments support the Academic Affairs division in the Dean of STEM department. Appointments are on a rolling basis and not a guarantee of ongoing employment.
A part-time instructor in STEM Careers will teach courses introducing the career process for exploration, development, and research for STEM freshmen and sophomores. The role includes helping students build a foundation for career planning, understanding STEM majors, conducting career research, and making well-informed career decisions. In addition, instructors guide students in creating career-ready documents such as resumes, cover letters, reference pages, and other materials to support job searches and career success.
