About the Role Anderson University seeks instructors for upcoming adjunct openings in Sociology. Minimum requirements include a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in sociology, with SOC course prefix; teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
What You'll Do
- Teach sociology courses per assigned schedule, with delivery formats including online, hybrid, traditional seated, evening, or off-site offerings.
- Develop and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with program standards.
- Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate grade records.
- Participate in student advisement and office hours as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in sociology (18 graduate hours with the SOC course prefix).
- Teaching experience at the college level preferred.
- Ability to teach courses online, hybrid, and on-site as needed.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
