About the Role Columbia Dining Services is seeking a Pantry Worker to join our culinary team. The role involves cold prep, assisting chefs, and interacting with customers by preparing customized meals. You will help produce the daily pantry menu under the Manager on Duty. What You'll Do
- Serve the menu of the day in the manner prescribed by Dining Services
- Order, receive, and store necessary food and supplies and maintain related records
- Comply with the rules of Dining Services in regard to production and serving
- Use and maintain tools and equipment in a proper manner, including steam tables, coffee brewing equipment and food display cases
- Clean, prepare, and keep in order the area and equipment used in the job and other areas as assigned by the Manager
- Observes and practices safety standards
- Performs related duties as required or assigned within the job classification What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma and/or its equivalent Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.92 per hour
- Hours per Week: 40
- Standard Work Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 10:00am - 8:00pm
- The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training
