Palliative Care Physician | Maplewood and Woodbury, MN

University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) is seeking a Palliative Care Physician to join our practice in Maplewood, Woodbury, and as needed the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Practice Highlights

  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, palliative care social workers and chaplains to provide timely access and care to patients with palliative care needs
  • Provide acute care services to patients at M Health Fairview
  • Provide timely consultations to requesting clinicians across settings
  • Communicate with patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis and expected outcomes, and coordinate with primary and referring physicians

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hospice and Palliative Medicine training program

  • Board eligible/certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine

  • Licensed or able to obtain a Minnesota medical license and DEA, and meet credentialing and privileging criteria

  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time salary is $234,000, commensurate with experience, and may include incentive or specialty-specific compensation. Salary prorated based on FTE.
