About the Role The role involves managing critical spare parts, strategic consumables, and ensuring availability for preventive and corrective maintenance, plant operation including planned outages, unplanned events, and special projects, while minimizing costs within the defined area budget.
What You'll Do
- Manage supply of all required spare parts for preventive & corrective maintenance, as well as for special projects, ensuring availability as needed.
- Replenish existing spare parts inventory; add new parts for new projects or previously unidentified spare parts; optimize stock levels using the maintenance management system and the purchasing requisition system.
- Maintain warehouse efficiency and image by removing low-use parts, optimizing space, and keeping the area clean and organized.
- Conduct regular physical inventory and compare with the maintenance system; adjust quantities to maintain maximum and minimum levels.
- Update the data of physical spare parts in the maintenance spare parts inventory system.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing spare parts and inventory in a maintenance/operational setting.
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems and procurement processes.
- Strong organizational skills, cost-consciousness, and attention to data accuracy.
- Ability to maintain warehouse organization and safety in a plant environment.
