Job Description
This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used to provide valuable educational experiences for incumbents. The purpose of this role is to give incumbents an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision, interns perform work as assigned by the department or area.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to professional or technical employees within an organizational function related to the intern's area of study.
- Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on the department/area and need.
- Incumbents receive assignments from and have their work regularly reviewed by supervising staff.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution or within 1 year of graduation. Incumbents must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
- Ability to:
- Work independently.
- Interact with others in a professional, harmonious, and diplomatic way.
- Use sound judgment.
- Meet rigid and challenging deadlines.
- Take direction.
