What is a BA Candidate? A BA Candidate is someone who: Has a master’s degree in a BACB-approved field Completed all required ABA coursework Finished at least 50% of supervised experience hours Is planning to sit for the BCBA exam within one year of starting Has completed New Mexico's background check registry Can provide Stage 2 (Assessment) and Stage 3 (Intervention) ABA services under supervision
What You’ll Do

Support clients by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Work directly with clients and model strategies for technicians and caregivers

Collect and analyze data to guide progress

Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals

Attend team meetings and receive structured supervision

Maintain documentation that’s ethical, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant
