Food Manufacturing – Gilroy, CA
A food manufacturing facility in Gilroy, CA is seeking reliable General Labor / Packer team members to assist with production, packaging, and warehouse-related tasks. This position involves working on a production line, preparing food products for packaging, inspecting products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Schedule: Varies | Up to 40 hours/week | Up to 7 days/week (as needed)
Pay Rate: $17.40/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and label food products according to company standards
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging
- Operate basic production and packaging equipment as trained
- Load and unload materials and move products throughout the production area
- Assemble boxes, containers, and packaging materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals
- Assist production team members and supervisors with general labor duties
- Complete basic production paperwork and records as required
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Ability to lift and move products or materials as required

Basic understanding of workplace safety and cleanliness

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Comfortable working around food production equipment and in a production environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements
