Packaging Technician

About the Role Packaging Technician role at Gilead within the manufacturing and packaging operations. The role supports the packaging of Gilead products and Clinical Trial Material in a cGMP environment under supervision, ensuring compliance with SOPs and Master Batch Records to help deliver therapies. What You'll Do

• Work on basic to routine assignments following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Collaborate with other Packaging Technicians under the guidance of a Group/Team Leader and the Packaging Manager.
• Participate in manufacturing and packaging of Gilead products; assist in the inspection of Gilead products, Clinical Trial Material, and components.
• With guidance, participate in the packaging of Gilead products and Clinical Trial Material.
• Set up and operate Packaging line equipment including vial labeler, vial label laser, and carton laser.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and clean packaging areas, including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
• Comply with all safety-related procedures and practices.
• Set up check-weighing of multi-unit cartons.
• Perform basic ERP/MES transactions.
• Receive well-defined instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Report variance or deviation from standard procedures to department management.
• Take variant action only with approval of department management. What We're Looking For
• Basic Qualifications: Associate Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience OR High School Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates familiarity with written SOPs and Master Batch Records.
• Demonstrates sufficient verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate basic information to peers and team lead.
• Demonstrates working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and administrative policies.
• Demonstrates ability to follow direction and work with only moderate supervision.
• Knowledge of basic ERP/MES transactions. Nice to Have
• Prior experience in a cGMP related industry is desirable. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $55,930.00 - $72,380.00.
