responsibilities

• Process & Quality Improvement: Led continuous improvement, quality control, Root-Cause Analyses (RCA), time studies, and line balancing for Press and Assembly packaging processes.
• Operations & Engineering Management: Managed new product launches, engineering change implementation, process documentation, and BOM maintenance/restructuring.
• Container & Inventory Control: Oversee container inventory, customer reconciliation, and partnership with Materials teams to resolve packaging disputes.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Effectively coordinate with customer engineers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to develop tailored packaging solutions.
• Business & Financial Acumen: Applied automotive manufacturing best practices and financial awareness to deliver cost-effective, safe, and efficient operations.

qualifications

• Several years of auto manufacturing experience, mixed with at least three years of packaging engineering experience
• Mixed experience between OEM and supplier would be a great help; any work experience with BMW, VW and/or Mercedes is a bonus given our customer portfolio
