About the Role Packaging Engineer at PT Mattel Indonesia in Bekasi, responsible for reviewing packaging concepts for development in manufacturing and delivering manufacturable package designs with reliable tie-down methods.
What You'll Do
- Review the packaging concept for development in manufacturing, with attention to the following aspects:
- Develop a manufacturable package design and secure a reliable tie-down method
- Select materials that meet aesthetic, reliability, and safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to manage the project timeline
- Ensure a thorough and clear handover process to the manufacturing team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum diploma in Product Design
- Background in engineering with design or packaging passion is welcome
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar role
- Must have basic understanding in color separation, printing process and paper classification
- Good analytical & problem-solving skill
- Proven demonstrated leadership are required
- Computer literate
- Willing to be placed in Cikarang, Bekasi
Nice to Have
- Packaging passion or interest in packaging design is welcome
