P&C Casualty Actuary
Influence and support the profitable growth of the P&C division by actively supporting the operational business teams and by contributing to the future strategic development of the Casualty portfolios in line with the local, Regional and COG’s segmentation strategy. In this role, you will:
- Provide high quality and timely actuarial advice to the P&C Casualty product team and the Senior P&C Actuaries and Chief Actuary
- Lead and perform portfolio reviews. Present to a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management and front-line business and helping to formula business strategy.
- Lead and perform pricing projects and rating algorithm development for key portfolios and new digital products
- Lead and perform pricing and performance reviews for key scheme and portfolio opportunities
- Lead and perform portfolio monitoring projects, including enhancement of the monitoring framework sophistication. Promote innovation through constantly improving current processes with an automation focus.
Qualifications
- What you’ll bring to the role
- Qualified actuary with minimum 5 years of experience in General insurance
- Experience and knowledge in Casualty and/or Commercial Lines insurance
- Strong business knowledge and communication capabilities
- Solid foundation in applying advanced statistical and data mining techniques to solving business problems
- Ability to manage competing projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work
