About the Role This role is an integral part of Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects serving as an Owner’s Authorized Representative II for K-12, ANS Health & Public Service in the West. You’ll manage and coordinate all phases of assigned public facility projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets while collaborating with district staff, designers, contractors, and public agencies. What You'll Do
- Manage, oversee, and coordinate all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phases.
- Review pre-construction documents and submit comments to the Designer as necessary.
- Plan, organize, and prepare reports to upper management on status and progress.
- Coordinate with public agencies, District and Project staff for off-site work and compliance; liaise with District and Project staff.
- Manage project budget and schedule; monitor monthly and ensure alignment with status/progress.
- Direct daily activities of the contractor, review construction schedules and submittals, and coordinate responses to RFCs and related documents.
- Review substitution submittals to ensure specification and District requirements are met.
- Receive, review, and negotiate Contractor Change Order Proposals; address schedule impacts in a timely manner.
- Review payments for contractor, architects, engineers, and other parties.
- Administer provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the District.
- Coordinate District delivery of related fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
- Monitor and manage project close-out with respect to DSA certification and financial close-out.
- Onsite at client site: work location is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. What We're Looking For
- Fifteen (15) years full-time paid professional experience in Construction and/or a combination of Project and Construction Management of Commercial and/or Public/Educational Facility Construction, with five (5) of the fifteen (15) years coordinating complex projects with construction values > $20M; OR Twenty (20) years full-time paid professional experience with fifteen (15) of the twenty (20) years coordinating complex projects with construction values > $20M.
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
- A Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential from CMAA may substitute for the education requirement.
- Preferred (Not Required): Degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
- Preferred (Not Required): CCM credential from CMAA. Nice to Have
- Design Build Experience
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- LEED certification projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)
- Experience with Division of the State Arc coordination (DSA) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $193,000 - $212,000 per year.
- Compensation varies by location and role; onsite at client site with Accenture benefits depending on country and role.
