About the Role Amazon Logistics is seeking an On the Road Manager to join the AMZL Brasil team at our delivery station in João Pessoa, Paraíba. As On the Road Manager, you will lead and optimize last-mile operations, ensuring operational excellence across all steps of the delivery process. Your role will involve loading operations and delivery performance alongside the Operations team and Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), monitoring the metrics related to On The Road operations. You will be part of a highly collaborative, dynamic and innovative environment where ideas are valued and experimentation is encouraged. Our goal is to find creative and practical solutions to deliver the best results for our customers. What You'll Do
- Supervise the preparation and execution of the loading process, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and managing exceptions to minimize delays
- Coordinate the loading process of Flex and Hub operations
- Conduct day-before review analysis, leading calls with operations teams and developing action plans for continuous improvement
- Perform Gemba walks at the loadout and on-road monitoring to identify process gaps and implement corrective actions
- Optimize and manage operational performance metrics of On the Road
- Monitor and improve on-road quality metrics
- Manage and reduce delivery failures, including RTS (Return to Station), BC (Establishment Closed), UTA (Unable to Access) and UTL (Unable to Locate)
- Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to other Operations departments as needed What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Experience in people management Nice to Have
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques
