Job title: OTR Driver

About the Role Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks an OTR Driver to safely and efficiently operate long-haul tractor-trailers between production and distribution facilities, supporting our distribution network.

What You'll Do

• Operates an 80,000 pound tractor and semi-trailer carrying product to pre-determined destinations.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle will operate safely.
• Positions trailers at docks for loading and unloading product.
• Keeps and maintains a driver’s log book each day.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• DOT CDL class A License required or must be able to obtain DOT Class A license.
• Two Years tractor–trailer experience required.
• Experience positioning trailer at docks for loading and unloading.
• Able to pass a PBV driving skills test.
• Ability to work shift in excess of 8 hours.
• Ability to successfully pass DOT physical under guidelines set forth in Federal Motor Carriers Handbook; must be able to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and 45 business days from hire date in which to obtain license if CDL is not currently held.
• Average oral and written communication skills.
