About the Role
Join Luno's OTC Desk to provide trusted infrastructure for high-value trades. This role focuses on facilitating quotes, settlement options, and client requirements for large-volume trades.
What You'll Do
- Provide all-in prices for requested volumes with zero slippage and no hidden fees.
- Discuss and implement settlement methods: Pre-funded (funded prior to quoting, settlement immediately after execution) or Post-trade Settlement (price upfront, settlement up to T+2 at no extra cost).
- Explain ZAR settlement mechanics, including Instant EFT deposits and Express ZAR withdrawals with ~20-minute settlement.
- Support trading hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM SAST; desk closed on weekends.
- Adhere to minimum trade size of $50,000; accommodate smaller test trades as needed; standard single-trade limit up to $2M; bespoke arrangements available for larger requirements.
- Trade any asset listed on the Luno platform, with deep liquidity for USDT and USDC (Xstocks included).
What We're Looking For
- Interest in high-value OTC trading and client-facing discussions to determine requirements.
- Understanding of pricing, slippage-free quotes, and no-hidden-fee pricing.
- Familiarity with settlement options (pre-funded and post-trade) and T+2 timelines, as well as ZAR settlement via Instant EFT.
- Ability to operate within the stated trading hours and handle large trade-size capabilities (min $50k, up to $2M, bespoke when needed).
- Knowledge of supported assets on the Luno platform, with emphasis on USDT and USDC liquidity.
