About the Role The Lawson Group provides OSHA compliance consulting to New Hampshire businesses since 1978. The role focuses on helping organizations understand and implement OSHA requirements to keep workers safe and ensure regulatory compliance. What You'll Do
- Writing and updating safety programs
- Conducting hazard assessments
- Providing OSHA training tailored to your industry
- Performing mock OSHA inspections to prepare you for visits
- Conducting proactive OSHA audits to identify gaps before inspectors arrive
- Representing your business during OSHA inspections
- Helping you respond to citations and take corrective action
- Guiding self-assessments, documenting findings, and addressing OSHA concerns
- Supporting hazard communication (labels, SDS, chemical inventory), chemical storage compliance, spill containment, and hazardous waste guidance as part of comprehensive compliance
- Assisting with PPE hazard assessments and training; ensuring proper PPE selection, fit, and written documentation
- Addressing walking-working surfaces, fall protection, and lockout/tagout procedures; planning exits and evacuation What We're Looking For
- Interest in OSHA compliance and translating complex regulations into practical, actionable steps
- Ability to assess workplaces and develop safety programs tailored to industry
- Strong communication and training capabilities
- Experience with hazard analysis, safety program development, or inspections is a plus Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ventilation and indoor air quality, noise exposure monitoring, and hearing conservation programs
- Knowledge of hazardous materials management, chemical exposure assessment, and PPE requirements
