Synergy Health Partners is recruiting experienced orthopedic surgeons to join our team at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. Work 7-10 days a month as a permanent member of the surgical team—building real relationships with colleagues, patients, and the community. You’re not passing through. You’re building roots.
Job Details:
- Acute care orthopedic program
- 7-10 days/month with a stable, embedded team
- Supportive and collaborative surgical environment
- Housing stipend provided
- Medical malpractice coverage included
- 1-2 years experience required
- Work with a company created by and for surgeons
- Active IA medical license is a plus
Facility Details:
- Level III Trauma Center
- EMR: Transitioning to Epic in May 2026
- Convenient airport access: United Express offers daily flights to Mason City Municipal Airport (MCW) from Chicago (ORD). Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) is 130 miles; Des Moines (DSM) is 143 miles.

Compensation Details
$361K–$516K
Compensation is based on 7-10 days a month daily rate and housing stipend.
