Organizer

About the Role The Organizer will work with the Organize the Schools (OTS) team to advance CCEA’s membership growth and leadership development program in Clark County. Based in Las Vegas, the role involves building relationships with school sites, memberships, and education leaders to support collective bargaining and program delivery. What You'll Do

• Have an assigned route of buildings and be responsible for ongoing membership recruitment within those sites.
• Assist education leaders in organizing school-site teams and developing school communications networks.
• Promote and carry out CCEA’s professional learning programs; organize member and non-member engagement in CCEA-led campaigns (contract, political, grassroots).
• Collect relevant data, enter into the database, and generate progress reports.
• Meet daily with CCEA staff leadership and follow directions; maintain visibility with membership through regular building visitations; establish positive relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by CCEA. What We're Looking For

• Data management skills and proficiency with computer programs.
• Ability to motivate others; detail-oriented; task-driven; results-driven; deadline-driven; creative problem solver; organized in work assignments.
• Driver’s license and a registered vehicle with $300,000 liability auto insurance is mandatory.
• Willing to work extended hours; professional appearance in interactions with members and the public; team player.
• Experience working on campaigns and with diverse populations, personalities, and viewpoints. Compensation & Benefits
