About the Role
This is an open rank tenure-track faculty position in Organizational Behavior and Management at Abilene Christian University, starting Fall 2027. The role includes teaching undergraduate (and potentially graduate) courses in organizational behavior and other management topics, maintaining Scholarly Academic status through ongoing scholarship, and mentoring students while supporting department, college, and university service.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in organizational behavior and other management subjects for business students in residential programs.
- Maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and professional development aligned with AACSB Accreditation standards.
- Mentor students and participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
What We're Looking For
- Earned PhD or DBA (completed or near completion) in business management, organizational behavior, or a closely related field, with a secondary interest in entrepreneurship, leadership, healthcare management, hospitality management, or human resources.
- Strong record of relevant research and/or professional experience, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Proven college/university teaching experience or strong promise in teaching.
- Willingness to support the Christian mission of ACU and be a professing Christian due to ACU's affiliation with the Churches of Christ.
Nice to Have
- Secondary interests in entrepreneurship, leadership, healthcare management, hospitality management, or human resources (as noted).
