About the Role The MCCL Oratory Contest and National Right to Life Essay Contest provide students with opportunities to learn about right-to-life issues, hone communication skills, and advocate for the most vulnerable. The Oratory Contest invites high school juniors and seniors to research, write, and deliver a five- to seven-minute pro-life speech; submissions are video-based. The Essay Contest invites teens to write about why they are pro-life, with separate Junior (grades 7-9) and Senior (grades 10-12) categories.
