Role: Oracle PaaS / VBCS – AMS Technical Support

Role Description : An Oracle PaaS (VBCS) Senior Associate responsible for providing L2/L3 technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements for Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications and Oracle Fusion SaaS extensions within a Managed Services environment. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Oracle Visual Builder, Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), REST APIs, JavaScript, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Cloud application integrations. The candidate will troubleshoot application defects, resolve integration failures, implement minor enhancements, optimize application performance, and ensure the stability of Oracle Cloud extensions.

Level: Experienced Professional, independently manage assigned technical support workstreams, troubleshoot complex application issues, perform code analysis, develop fixes and enhancements, coordinate technical deployments, and ensure timely resolution of incidents within agreed SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Production Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle VBCS applications, Visual Builder Studio extensions, and Oracle Cloud PaaS solutions.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate JavaScript errors, page rendering issues, UI defects, application performance problems, and service connection failures.

• VBCS Configuration & Maintenance: Support Business Objects, Service Connections, Page Flows, Action Chains, Variables, Business Rules, and application configurations.

• Oracle Fusion Extensions: Troubleshoot and maintain Oracle Fusion SaaS extensions developed through Oracle Visual Builder Studio, including Redwood-aligned applications.

• REST API & Integration Support: Diagnose REST API failures, authentication issues, payload errors, and connectivity problems involving Oracle Fusion Cloud and external systems.

• Enhancements & Defect Fixes: Develop and test minor enhancements, technical fixes, UI improvements, and application modifications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Oracle JET components.

• Deployment & Release Management: Support Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, VB Studio deployments, release validation, and environment migration.

• OIC Integration Support: Coordinate troubleshooting of integration failures involving Oracle Integration Cloud, REST services, and external applications.

• Incident & Problem Management: Perform RCA, document technical solutions, monitor recurring issues, and maintain support knowledge articles.

• Oracle Quarterly Updates: Assess application compatibility with quarterly Oracle Fusion Cloud releases and support regression testing and defect remediation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Oracle technical development/support, with hands-on experience in Oracle VBCS and Visual Builder Studio.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle Visual Builder, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Oracle JET, REST APIs, and JSON.

• Oracle Cloud Knowledge: Experience supporting Oracle Fusion SaaS extensions, Oracle PaaS applications, and Redwood UX.

• Integration

• Working knowledge of OIC, REST/SOAP services, OAuth authentication, and Oracle Fusion APIs.

• DevOps & Deployment: Experience with Git, CI/CD, VB Studio deployments, and application troubleshooting.

• Managed Services: Experience in L2/L3 production support, defect analysis, performance optimization, RCA, and technical incident management.
