Oracle ERP Application Development Lead - Vice President

Hybrid remote position in Tampa, Florida, United States. Full time.

The Oracle ERP Application Development Lead is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolving a variety of high impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Providing expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilizing advanced knowledge of system flow and developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Developing comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Providing in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serving as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Recommended Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Ability to use Gen AI-enabled development and productivity tools to improve code quality, velocity, and reliability
• Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted and automated systems to design, build, and maintain software solutions
• Ability to apply professional judgment when leveraging AI outputs, ensuring accuracy, security, and maintainability
• Willingness to continuously explore new tools and approaches that enhance engineering workflows and delivery outcomes
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or university degree or equivalent experience

• Master’s degree preferred
