Job title: Oracle Developer
About the Role ABSI leverages Oracle technologies to deliver enterprise solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications using Oracle Database, Discoverer, Application Server, and related tools to support scalable, flexible implementations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain client-side applications using Oracle Developer Suite products and reporting tools.
- Build three-tier architecture applications with Oracle Application Server, Oracle Portal, JSP & PSP, and OC4J.
- Work with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, object capabilities) and Oracle Discoverer to create analytical and transactional solutions.
- Integrate Oracle e-Business Suite modules FA and ABM where required.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver faster, more affordable development while preserving quality and enabling system evolution and growth.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Oracle technologies: Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, object capabilities), Oracle Text interMedia, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Portal, Reports Developer, Forms Developer, JSP & PSP, OC4J.
- Familiarity with Oracle e-Business Suite modules FA and ABM.
- Knowledge of three-tier architecture and development practices; exposure to CDM and RUP methodologies.
- Ability to deliver scalable solutions for SMEs and adapt to flexible development models.
Nice to Have
- Prior projects using Oracle CDM and RUP and experience delivering with flexible, lighter development models for faster time-to-value.
- Experience contributing to analytic and enterprise-scale Oracle solutions.
