About the Role Join EssilorLuxottica as an Optometrist within our OPSM network in Australia and New Zealand, delivering exceptional eyecare and tailored service using advanced technology. You will perform eye examinations and help customers choose lens solutions that fit their lifestyle, while delivering high-quality customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Perform eye examinations for a broad range of customers (e.g., kids, contact lenses, therapeutics, etc.).
- Confidently recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyles and clearly explain lens technology, coatings and extras.
- Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the usage and recommendation of technology to customers.
- Work with the Store Manager and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue, including technology, Optometry labour efficiencies and appropriate Medicare billing.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform eye examinations and recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle, using advanced eyewear technology such as Retinal Camera, Visual Field Analyser, Non-contact tonometer, Corneal Topographer, Optos UWDRS and OCT.
- Clear communication of lens technology, features and benefits to customers.
- Experience coaching/mentoring Graduate Optometrists and collaborating with store leadership to drive Eyecare revenue and compliant Medicare billing.

- Familiarity with the world-class technology listed (Retinal Camera, Visual Field Analyser, Non-contact tonometer, Corneal Topographer, Optos UWDRS and OCT).
