About the Role Yara is seeking an Operator for the CES area at the Terneuzen site. The role focuses on performing control, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance on plant installations and equipment, with specific responsibility for compressors and pumps. Safety is always central, with the aim of returning home safely after each shift. What You'll Do
- Perform control, operating, fault-finding and maintenance work on plant installations and equipment.
- Monitor and operate compressors and pumps as part of daily duties.
- Conduct routine rounds, recording process variables, temperatures and levels.
- Support the main operator during start-up and shutdown of plant installations.
- Be the first to detect and report faults and leaks to the control room.
- Follow Yara procedures and values (Curiosity, Ambition, Collaboration & Responsibility). What We're Looking For
- MBO-opleiding procestechniek with VAPRO C or AOT; or MBO-opleiding werktuigbouwkunde or elektrotechniek with VAPRO B; or BSO/TSO-opleiding with Chemische Procestechnieken.
- Communicative, able to work independently and consult with colleagues to resolve problems; safety-first attitude.
- Ambition to progress to hoofdoperator and willingness to develop if not yet perfect.
