About this role
About the Role As a Surface Treatment Operator in Bombardier’s manufacturing environment, you will prepare and treat metal parts through cleaning, degreasing, deoxidation, plating, and electrochemical or chemical treatments. You will set up and monitor equipment, ensure the quality of treatments, and perform basic preventive maintenance. You will also use production tracking software and complete quality and traceability documentation. What You'll Do
- Prepare, mask, position, and secure parts for treatment.
- Adjust and control equipment, baths, and treatment products to achieve desired surface characteristics.
- Operate and monitor equipment for cleaning, degreasing, and deoxidizing metal surfaces.
- Monitor processing lines with various cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions.
- Perform and supervise part treatment and electrochemical or chemical processes.
- Operate ovens for curing and drying surface coatings.
- Verify surface treatment condition and thickness using measurement instruments.
- Implement corrective actions or first-level preventive measures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Use software to manage workflow and record results.
- Complete Quality Control and Traceability documents. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent or relevant experience demonstrating manual dexterity.
- Ability to work meticulously and precisely.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (day, evening, night).
- Commitment to safety and exemplary practices in line with company values.
- French language skills (speaking and writing).
