About the Role LG Corp. (LG Chem) is seeking an Operator - Production for the 2nd shift at the Ravenna, OH ABS Compounding Facility. The role ensures on-time production while complying with safety, quality, and cost requirements. What You'll Do
- Operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials; perform startups and shutdowns; monitor control panels and adjust according to written parameters and supervisor instructions.
- During changeovers, perform setup by removing, cleaning and installing extruder die heads; minimize downtime to return lines to full production.
- Operate mixer to blend materials; verify materials and weights; prepare raw materials; read work orders; measure, weigh, and label products; manage barcode labeling.
- Package produced products and manage packaging supplies; conduct month-end packaging inventory; coordinate with laboratory for quality sampling and conformity.
- Follow all plant safety policies; generate corrective and preventive actions; maintain organized work area; adhere to Jeong-Do ethics; perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. What We're Looking For
- At least three years of experience in compounding or equivalent.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to operate compounding machinery (extruder, mixer, packing machine); comfort with control panels and basic inventory software.
- Good reading, writing and math skills; strong communication and reliability; willingness to work overtime.
- Forklift license; ability to maintain machinery and use hand tools. Nice to Have
