Operator

You operate and maintain at least one process, piece of equipment, or system independently, following autonomous maintenance standards. You use your technical skills to improve line and system performance to meet business needs.

You will contribute by operating and maintaining equipment to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets. You will execute standard work processes using autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM). You will ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions, loss analysis, and breakdown elimination.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets
• Execute standard work processes using autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM)
• Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed
• Participate in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions, loss analysis, and breakdown elimination

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge in machine operations and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools

• Safety and quality standards for operating machinery

• Reading and writing skills and fluency in the language of communication appropriate to the site

• Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment

• Understanding of total productive maintenance tools and methodologies is a distinct advantage

• Education / Certifications

• Highest qualification: OND in engineering or a related field
