Operations Trainee
What you will enjoy doing*
- For this role you will enroll and complete a formal Driver/Operations training program through a third-party operated school
- You will complete a minimum of 120 hours of instruction, including at least 40 hours behind-the-wheel
- You will receive pay during the first few weeks of employment to complete course instruction
- In this role you will attain a Class A or B CDL license with applicable endorsements based on company needs and then will be guaranteed full-time local driving position with Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. upon attaining CDL with endorsements
- Program covers expenses for course instruction and required materials
- This program covers one-time fees for obtaining a CDL, including test fees, equipment rental, and DOT exams
- Initial fees for required certifications such as tanker, airbrake, hazmat, and medical card are included
What makes you great
- You have the ability to attend all classes or instruction.
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past two (2) years.
- No DUI or similar type convictions within the last ten (10) years.
- You have the ability to successfully pass a DOT physical (Physical not scheduled until after offer has been extended.)
- You have the ability to read and write in English.
- A high School Diploma or G.E.D.
- You have reached the age of 21 years or older.
- You have the ability to obtain CDL Permit prior to beginning course instruction, and CDL license upon course completion
